Sustainability and environmental protection
According to the Water Management Act (WHG), only certified specialised companies are permitted to carry out work governed by the WHG on systems designed to handle liquids deemed hazardous to water. The operators of these systems are likewise responsible for ensuring that only correspondingly certified companies are hired to carry out this work. Tasks governed by the WHG include installing, repairing, internal cleaning of and decommissioning plants.
Quality in the welding sector
The EN ISO 3834 set of standards constitutes an internationally recognised set of rules governing welding technology. It is designed to ensure that welding is carried out in the most efficient and effective manner in line with the requirements, during product manufacturing for example.
The management system to be applied is determined by the systematic recognition of factors that influence the quality of welded joints and other measures taken to produce flawless welded products.
Even the most comprehensive and highly developed non-destructive testing of welding is not capable of improving the quality of the welded joint produced.
